Didn t answer the call and came here to check the number. Lots of these apparently foreign numbers are actually originating in the UK by using software diallers that mask the caller s true location.As other posters suggest, a good rule of thumb is - if the number looks suspicious it probably is.

Called me but i didnt answer. Called back and the automated message said i was called today from RK Legal regarding my car crash (never had one) Pressed 9 to not be called back but assuming they were trying to sell me stuff (Im on the TPS so totes illegal!)

Ditto to last comment. Two or three times a day. If you answer it goes to a ringing tone. Balls to that. Have blocked about 30 0843 numbers so far. They just keep coming.

Just to confirm, after my previous post I reported this number to the police, who said it definitely is a scam, and that Microsoft would never call you about this sort of thing. These people will generally want remote access to your computer to "fix a virus" or something like that. I have been contacted by this number every day (some time twice a day)for the past week. each time it has been for the same contract opportunity each time I tell them NO!
