Just an stupid voice recording from 'The National Crime Agency' threatening to cut off my National Insurance benefits and arrest me due to fraud if I didn't call back. So, just for a laugh, I pressed 1. Got a lot of call centre noise with Indian accents but no one answering. So I screamed down the phone and then got an extremely abusive American accented voice with whom I had a shouting match (I won). NO-ONE from a UK crime agency or a UK government would attempt to contact someone like that.

Caller identified herself as Julie Smith from Signet Advice (as far as I could tell with some background noise). Said she d been informed I was recently injured in a car accident that wasn t my fault. I asked her how she knew that.
