01223931099 rang with a very loud background noise proporting to be a call centre. The caller, with a strong foreign accent, alleged he was from sky refund centre; however, when I said ok in a less than enthusiastic manner, the caller hung up. This is most unlike any sky call centre I have experienced. I suspect it to be a scam.

Claimed to be from my bank saying we had possible fraud activity on our acct. Someone had tried to set up direct debits for aviva and netflix and other activity. Two males with scottish accents, possibly same man!

Usual SCAM - this time looking like a local phone no - they're getting sneakier! Same old Automated Scam message - Amazon & International Money Transfer (aye, aye..,heard this **** for years). Claimed to be a text from TSB wanting me to call a number to approve a payment, I don't bank with TSB. Definitely a scam.

This number called me on my landline & when I answered there was a pre-recorded message to the effect that there had been suspicious transactions on my bank card. I strongly suspect this is a scam.

Caller ID identified the call was from Bishops Stortford. The caller said he was from O2 offering a 30% discount on my tariff. I told him I was suspicious of this call, he diverted me to another person who repeated the discount spiel. Asked why I'd be getting a discount, he said many complaints to O2 has led them to offer 'selected customers' a discount; I wouldn't have to give him any personal details, he would send me 2 texts. so I told him to sod off and disconnected the call. Reported to the ICO
