This is a scam number, and probably all numbers 023821464**. Asian sounding voice said he was from "Amazon Fraud Department" and that my account had been compromised (I don't have an Amazon account). He quoted, correctly both my mobile number and my house phone number. Told me that the account would be frozen. Then told me to go to a nearby supermarket gift card section and buy a Google gift card (!!). Told him I couldn't as I was at the airport awaiting a flight, so he said he would c

Automated call about some amazon purchase saying I've been charged over £300...I hung up straightaway.

+3617009549 belongs to Finvestings.com who are a scam Investment Company? They use different spoof numbers from different EU countries but most roads lead back to Zurich and Estonia. Please check the FCA UK website for more information on Finvestings.com who are owned by SanaKo service Ltd.

called several times on different o2 numbers each 10 minutes apart on xmas eve saying that they were amazon on line support all automated voice absolutely scamming calls

They say it's HMRC for tax fraud on the account. Obvious fraud as they don't answer.

Impolite and looks like a scam. Telling me he will enroll me into a lucky draw for free but will send me a bill.

Scammers pretending to be HMRC, saying arrest warrant issued, phone number disconnected, bank accounts blocked, driving licence & passport cancelled, police on their way to home address (which the scammers don’t know). Do not provide any truthful info - lie as tho your life depends on it (your finances are under threat) as they will try to get you to agree to paying £987.26 (over £1000 gets bank fraud dept involved). Scam saying there PayPal said I had 2 unlawful payments go out and wanted me to confirm then they sent texts apparently from the bank but looked nothing like it . I got suspicious and put the phone down and found £1000 taken out my account . Then they persistently called me for days on random numbers very dangerous

SCAM Someone passing themselves off as Business Energy Direct. It certainly isn’t them, they are based in Rotherham which is an 01709 number and none of their staff are Asian so don’t have Asian accents.

Phoning pretending to be scottiish power to say meter reading has been taken incorrectly. Got the real scottish power to talk to them on other line and he could not confirm what department he was from so terminated call
