Said it was about PPI but then wanted previous address/current and date of birth, when i refused to give date of birth for a form to be posted, the male caller became aggressive

I am local to Wrexham and have recently had 4 local numbers that have called me whose numbers I don t recognize so have left the calls go to answer phone but shortly after my answer phone message starts, they hang up. They are probably all from the same organization all calling from different numbers. So far the numbers who have called me are as follows: 01978 638019 01978 638253 01978 638486 01978 638995 I just wish I had bought a better landline phone to block these and other nuisance spam

This number called with message about "every house needs to be done by 2016" plus "we are in your area" last week - some solar panel scam. Didn t answer - the message is recorded on my answerphone. Same message from 01316483485 yesterday - same result. This lot have probably rented fake numbers from a major phone company which offers them on its web site. Some firms offer call centres numbers which give the person called the idea that it is a local call.

This is a company to do with loans. They left me a voicemail but I didn't catch the company name.

Another dodgy debt collection company who prey on the vulnerable in society. Scum of the earth. Ask them to prove who they are and what data they hold on you and they will run for the hillsc
