This call is from the Visa Debit Fraud pretending there is a pending transaction of £900 and to press one if this is not a transaction you recognise. I never pressed one, but I suspect if they did my bank details would have been requested. I checked with my bank there are no pending transactions

I've worked in customer service multiple times, one thing I've been told which is common sense is not to spam our customers with calls, maximum I'd call is 2 times for a single customer then stop. Whoever's number this is has been calling everyday for the past few weeks which is 100% a scam. They claim to be e-on which is fake because their number isn't on e-ons website + they wouldn't be calling everyday. Not sure what is going on here, but I got a new sim card today and it was not activated. After installing it into my phone I received an email at 15.46 this afternoon telling me my sim was activated. When I logged into my account online after activation, it showed on my account that I had sent a SMS to this number 07537 452525 at 14.57 today. This was impossible as the sim was not even activated at 14.57 and I definitely did not send any SMS to anyone. I called my Mobile Provider and they are investigating.

Said they were BT, I had too many people using my IP. The account name was wrong. They said they could block them from their server, but it would be better from my PC. After my challenges they sent a text message with a verification code. It said to change my password. I did. Had one previously, real BT support said it was a scam. Assumed this identical call was too. Only the false account name was a clue, otherwise how can you tell?

I've put this as a Missed call but i didnt actually answer phone, i just let it ring as i didnt know who this was from and didnt actually recognise number, I'm very wary these days ,as there's too many scams goin around so i typed this number into google to see what came up it lead me here where it seemed to have a negative rating , so i will block in my Phone along with many others over the yrs .
Just taken a call from this number suggesting they were from O2 and wanted to offer me a discount as I paid my bills regularly. The caller was not English speaking, suspect a scam, beware...
