The number = 01709889223, this number phoned me today (at 13:08 on 1st March 2022) and the caller stated they were from BT OUTBOUND ringing about my telephone. They were indian, male and middle aged, they identified themselves as John Martin. I am ex-directory and my phone is registered with the telephone preference service to block sales calls and unwanted calls. I checked online and the number was listed as Indian and Rotherham based. Recieved phonecall from 01702311311 today claiming that some fraudulent transactions had been made using my bank card, one being from Amazon worth £100 & another from an international transaction worth over £1000. I recieved exactly the same phonecall the day before from a different number. I know these not to be true because they never say which bank they are from and never say which card it is from. Just to be safe I will let my Bank know about this so they can keep a check for me.

Comes up as suspected spam. Guy with an Indian accent said he was calling from a South African call centre on a Manchester landline! Claims he works for a company called UK Tariff that finds out if you're paying too much for your broadband or finds better deals. Thing is this so called company harasses with calls like 24/7 from different numbers most of the day. Hoping you're gullible enough to get to the part where you hand over your bank details. Best way is to report and block if it flags as spam.

I didn't recognise the whole number but knew the local code so I answered. It's Rapid Entry Rescue phoning me after one of their guys actually got me in my cat after I locked the keys inside!

From Franklin Fitch Recruitment. They were promising to help with my job search but they appeared to be phishing about my former companies so that they can make offers to provide recruitment services to them.
A scam caller called Crypto-something-or-other. Offered me 50 dollars of Bitcoin in exchange for attending some seminar; no doubt the scam is that they try to sell you more junk cryptocurrency. Nobody really transfers Bitcoin in increments as low as $50 because the fees are so high. They knew my first name somehow and ignored the TPS Do Not Call list.

Got a random text from it reading "Snapchat [code] passcode for phone enrolment Never share it" If it's a phishing scam it's a bit weak, I'm not even sure where I need to enter the code to get scammed (I'm guessing it's a hyperlink) Anyhow I know it's not legit because I don't even use Snapchat
SCAM. I got a very convincing text from this number but it is 100% a scam. The text said ‘ We attempted to deliver your EVRI parcel TZXXDA0732617072 today but no one was home. To avoid your parcel being returned visit: https://evri-parcelsecure.com’. The text was sent at 4am though so there was no way it was legit/they had tried to deliver that day. The link looks legit too but asks you to pay a redelivery fee.
