Fraud this number keeps texting me saying it is my "eldest" and they have lost their phone and need me to pay for this new phone. However, when I ask them their name, they just say "eldest". I dont actually have children, so this must be a fraud act.

Received a text message that "Simon" tried to deliver my package, but no one was home, and to "reshedule" my delivery by accessing {OBVIOUSLY FAKE WEBSITE!} "postoffice-reshedule-depot.com". Incorrect spelling of reschedule not once but twice was the first warning it was a SCAM. Then looking at the full website address.......yeah....obviously fake, and a quick google search leads to a number of Phishing / Scam reports using this same web address. 100% confirmed scam.

Received this call today. It came approximately 30 minutes after a call from a Cambridge number 01223 931995. The Cambridge number went dead on answering. The 01330 563426 number allowed me to answer, and an automated message said it was the HMRC and that I would be fined. You could press 1 to talk to an agent. I hung up. You cannot ring back. They said they were from HMRC. That I was due a refund due to my tax on a ppi claim. I have never claimed on a ppi form. I asked them to put the information in the post, they declined saying they don’t use the post. I then said we’ll send me an email and if you are HMRC you will have my email address. They then said if I changed my mind to phone them. Very strange

Not a scam, it's fine! Was told it was HSBC and was asked to verify my identity by the agent on the other end. I let them know I would call back directly to avoid a scam and she said okay, she would put a note on my file about it, and ended the call. I called HSBC directly through their official phone line and asked about it and they DID find a note on my file - it was totally legitimate! If in doubt go ahead and call back anyway, it's good practice, but don't ignore this number because it is actually real
