Caller from this number claimed to be from EE network which was unbelievable due to thos callers total lack of professionalism and dreadful attitude. Obviously yet just another tedious no hoper trying to scam the vulnerable with all the brinkmanship, skill and dexterity of a toddler with a plastic sword. If this is the level our scammers are currently operating at, then we genuinely have very little to fear.

SCAM Called saying they were from BT and my internet speed had been reported as an issue. A technician are working on it, but it was software on my router that was wrong. Got me to look up internet speed. Gave them fake results, which would have been top drawer, to be told they were not good Passed me to another technician to get me to open windows run and enter 'www.anydesk.com'. That scam has been doing the rounds for years. Told them I worked in IT, and they hung up!

I think this is a spoof number as it is a not in service number and does not leave a message on answer machine. This number cannot be contacted.
Asked for me by my first name, (the cheek of it). Then claimed to be from social housing repair, as we all know there is no such company (a legit one anyway). Furthermore, I know that my landlord do not deal with anyone that would just cold call tenants, especially one that uses an asian call center. This number rang twice before 9am this morning, I never answer these scam calls from people I don't know, should be made illegal by our useless government.
Just called me regarding an attempted transaction to John Lewis. Said my account was ‘under attack’ and there had been several suspicious transactions. He said he would escalate my case to Level 3 fraud, set up a new account number and sort code with a random generated name. Phoned Santander fraud department who confirmed my account was safe - the scammer then called me back ‘No Caller ID’! so I told him in no uncertain terms that he was a scamming bastard and he could go forth and multiply.
