Numerous calls asking for someone unknown to me - asked them to remove my number as kept getting calls from them - caller was very rude telling me to change my number and not be rude - which I definetly wasn’t - she then put phone down abruptly

Had a call today claiming I had down loaded errors every time I was on line. Claimed to be working with Microsoft. He phoned first on 78678600, but phoned me back on 02034665132 as it was a bad line. needless to say I didnt turn my computer on to give him

Had a rather garbled voicemail from Davinia offering help with VAT rebate on energy supply. Phrased to sound as though we'd already spoken. Had another call two or three weeks ago which I think was from the same company, and I firmly and politely declined

SCAM Appears as international call - and I was told the person was from "BT Openreach", and that I was getting malicious files downloaded onto my devices. When I asked for more details, it was clear the person was out of their depth, and I had already concluded this was a scam.

This number must be part of the range of numbers dedicated to the same call centre - I can see more similar numbers of the same range 1172942xxx reported here already, so far as I can see on internet with insurance review company / accident chasers (mostly road traffic accident) / PPI. People did they call you with something new, new scope?

This is a scam, probably timeshare related as per other comments. Rang off as I picked up the call. Call not connected when I called them back. Originating from Oxford I don't think so. Timewasters

Came up on my phone with a truecaller ID of "whatsappnumber 2485", so they are clearly trying to hide who they are by calling themselves something that people might have. I don't have Whatsapp on my phone, so no way of receiving calls through the app.

call from 02082160474 claims to be from SKY about suspicious activity on our sky router, however they didn't know the account holders name and tried to get me to go to a particular site to "test" my security, probably to try and hack into my devices.
