Just received a call from this number and it was a pre-recorded message about Amazon Prime and wanting confirmation about an annual payment. This is a scam so please be very careful

it;s the usual lowlife trying desperately trying to rob me of my pension pot. I'd like them to have a go at my bank, I'd get rid of my overdraft then! Seriously I consider ALL of these calls Dangerous, each and every one of them are lowlife robbers so how can they be anything less than dangerous ? Fraud Caller says they are from the fraud department of your credit card. They then say they are checking on a suspicious transaction which is bogus of course. They say they will block the account but only once they email you a one time pass code which they want read back to them. It’s a scam and was confirmed by the genuine fraud department once I called them.

Pretended to be from Starling Bank and asked me to confirm a very large online payment. When I refused he became abusive. Sounded quite credible initially and from a well spoken English accent.

SCAM claimed to be insurance on domestic appliances up for renewal - quoted my name, address and phone number (all as per phone directory) at me,then asked for my date of birth for verification - I asked him to tell me my date of birth so that I could verify it and (surprise, surprise) the line went dead.
