Text message received from Sants fraud asking me if I had made a pmt of 33458.64 to a Ali Afza? if not to call fraud on the number and not to reply by text. Luckily I worked for Santander so knew it was a scam but it is very convincing.

This. Number called me at 10.45 am. I do not answer numbers I don't know, so I rejected it. Apparently it was from Coventry and I know nobody in that area. Immediately a call came through from a number which apparently was from Cardiff. I rejected that too. Straight away a third number but I haven't even bothered to find out where that was from. These scammers or whatever they are buy up blocks of numbers and register them to different areas in the hope of fooling someone. I NEVER answer strange number

I got called from this number at 6.28am. The operator said they were from NHS calling

100% nuisance caller. Starts with a guy who sounds likes he is mildly retarded asking to speak with "accounts payable". Ask who they are, he is evasive and eventually responding "Sovereign" regarding foreign payments. Doesn't matter how politely, or not so politely, you ask them to stop calling they will ring again a few weeks later. We just put him on hold and and leave him there.

Man with Pakistani accent (no name given) said my computer is giving me trouble. It is, as it's refusing to boot up. He also said it is a laptop, correct again. I had a call this afternoon apparently from this number 08000234567, which I know is the number of the Financial Ombudsman's Office, when the caller said he was from the fraud dept of my bank. I had called the Financial Ombudsman earlier in the day on that number. It did not feel right and when I challenged the caller he put down the phone. Somebody may be able to pick up the numbers of those who have called the FOO? I will tell the FOO by email as their phone system takes too long to get through!
