When answering the call, a pre-recorded male voice told me that my NI number would be under investigation, because several fraudulent activities had been registered. It then urged me to press 1 for further information. I terminated the call immediately. However, this does not seem a legitimate phone number from which such a call would be made. Therefore, I am classing this as scam/fraud.

Said his name was James Walker. telling me I have unsecured debt. buckled when I started asking him questions and hung up. asking about my finances and from his accent clearly gave a false name, when I asked what company he was calling from he said it isn t a company it the consumer awareness line, but this does not exist. Same location they calling me from again, but with a totally different number, and an Asian woman speaking, could not talk as got a sore throat, what is this company doing calling me from London, I blocked their number they first called me on. If this carries on I will be reporting them to the relevant authorities for harrassment, don't need it when I am not well.
Just had a call from this number. The other end sounded like a call centre, but no one spoke. Then it cut off. They rang me on my landline number.

I have had 2 calls in the space of 2 hours about an alleged accident on the road. i have never had an accident and they cannot tell me what details they have about this so called accident. The first caller said they would remove my details but it didn t stop the second call 2 hours later.
