Indian accent claiming to be EE running a promotion. He ask for some pretty personal information. Name, address etc things EE should already have on file. Did not know the branch he was working from and was pretty adamant to get card info to enroll for the so called promotion but I had already picked up that it was a scam so no information was provided.

Legit. Checks out with what is listed on the HSBC UK website. Though the call quality was very bad. Also, you know it's a genuine bureaucratic banking process when they ask for 10 different details to confirm your identity. I swear the support lady could just identify theft the hell out of me at this point.

Called today 21.07.23, Indian sounding call centre claimed they could save me 30% of my O2 bill, I am not with O2, and when I asked where they found my number they said it was from a generated call list. They were going to get my grants and everything but they are not communicating by email which is strange. When I ask them to send me an email they don’t send any email.
