Was called by number claiming to be PPI payment I was due ,said they needed a payment voucher of over £100 to process claim and in return come collect voucher and give me cheque gor 2.5k .phoned 4 times persistent to see if I have got voucher to collect .complete scam.dont fall for it and report it

I got a call from this number and checking it out on this website it says there are no bad comments. Well I phoned them back, the phone rang for about 15 seconds, then cut off. I think it was a scam call.

I asked for a house price quote via Zoopla and this William H Brown number called me. This company was one of the three from which I requested a quote, so no issue with that. Problem is I live overseas, which is why I stated I wanted to be contacted by email. Even WhatsApp would do. But that's the way they operate. They like to be in your face.

Called me and left no message. Called them twice, within 40 minutes of their call. Both my callbacks failed (no one answers). And my phone history says: 'Cancelled Call'!
Missed call, no message and coming up as a mobile in Manchester or Liverpool area, so pretty sure its 99% a scam as I dont know anyone in this area and I do seem to get a lot of scam numbers.

This is the 3rd different number used by the same scammers. Unusual card transaction £300 & £1000. Odd they never tell whose card or what card and always sane amount. Claims to be BT openreach technical department. couldn't confirm account holder name. wanted me to use laptop or computer to check speeds. Told him I had done that already this morning and was quite happy with it but he was insisting I tried it on my computer or laptop. I was apparently overpaying for the speed i was getting and should be refunded.?!?!? hung up at that point, I couldn't be bothered listening anymore.
