Automated call claiming to be from VISA's security dept. concerning about two payments - £400 and £700 - that had allegedly been taken from my VISA card this morning. Press 1 to . . . etc. No identifying information at all. Nothing to make this in anyway personal to me . . . I'm assuming scam (but will check!) If it is then I hope all of their teeny, tiny genitalia get scrotum rot and drop off, and that they all suffer short but incredibly painful deaths!
Vodafone Sales Rep bursting my nut about better offers on Contract Sims. Wouldn t listen to Happy with My PAYG and not interested, infact, he completely ignored me and went into his speel. Asked f his phone can do this and Hung up on him. Now Blocked. I knew they were going to call. Received a text a while back but replied with the STOP text. Shows how they pay attention to that.
I only entered the competition for the iPad because it came up on accuweather which I ve been using for a while and is a bona fide site. I then got a message saying I was now entered in a weekly draw for ?4.50 per week. I then received 3 messages which I was charged ?3.83 for. I ve sent a stop message to 88222 as advised but this is a complete con.
SCAM - Male - Indian, asked for me by name, advised recent bank payment had been overpaid & I could get money refunded. He then gave my correct address & asked me to confirm this was correct. Told him this was excitinging news - I have someone with me at the moment, give me your number & I ll call you back. He hung up immediately. Do not ring your bank/credit card company immediately, it may reconnect you back to the caller who will then ask you to confirm your personal details - very dangerous. Instead
This number has tried phoning twice today. I ignored them and called back with a withheld number and the message said that they were called Claims Inclusive
Fraud - I was called off one number trying to get a security code that would reset my O2 account. when I refused to give the one time code to the lady she got aggressive. I said I would check with O2 customer service and if everything was ok would take up the offer. I was given this number as O2 customer services - IT IS NOT. I reported to O2 (202) and they confirmed that this was Fraud, and if I gave them the code they would have had access to my O2 account.

I just received a call from this number on my work iPhone (how did they get my number?!). I ignored the call, Googled the number, reached this page. Based on these comments, I have blocked the number using my iPhone software.
Been called by these people 4 times this week .they say their a finance business looking for someone. the guy seemed nice and professional but gave me the wrong details. so i dont know if their legit or not.(i did'nt share any of my details with him though just to be safe).

This is a Scam number that calls you and says it is from HMRC. It then asks you to press 1 to connect to a tax office agent or they will send someone around to arrest you!! Laughable really, but please be careful.

Weird thing was, this call came in on my company mobile, the number for which is only given out to colleagues and a few family members. Cryptocurrency scammer. I'm pretty sure he actually said the phrase "You signed up online. I wanted to know if you were still interested in this scam". When i laughed and called him out on it he became very irate accusing me of wasting his time and belittling his profession even though I was asking him to repeat what he said. It sounded like he had a few layers of fake proof set up online though. It might've fooled me if i hadn't googled it beforehand.
