SCAM - automated message claiming to be HMRC - you are a subject to a HMRC Investigation with arrest warrant being issued etc etc.. well known scam - if you call the number they will ask you to pay a nominal amount to clear the debt.. just ignore - the REAL HMRC will send you a brown envelope or send you a message via your Self Assessment portal, they will never call you cold

Fraud Caller said they were from Starling and that someone had fraudulently used my account to pay for £900 on flight tickets and £2000+ on rent. This was of course a lie on their part. SCAM Called to tell me my internet was slow and they would fix it. They tried to send me to a website to fix it but when I asked if I could have a number to call them back to make sure they were legit they hung up. They then called back to ask when was a convenient time to call me and I restated I wanted to call them and they hung up again. The second time the call came from 01483828426.

Called from this number asking about my "Microsoft product" very agressive when I said I could not switch on my machine at this time. Very strong accent, difficult to understand. When I asked where they were calling from she just got cross and told me my laptop wouldn t work if I didn t switch it on now!
The number is fake. London numbers don t start with a 1 after the city code of 020, although there is a real payday loan company called Lending Stream.
