Automated call on 17th June 2022 saying from Scottish Gas. Can't remember what else it said but it said to Press 1. The minute I heard that I put the phone down. I am not with Scottish Gas anyway so presumed this is a scam call.
Said it was carphone warehouse but asked for my bank details.
Another no response when call answered number. At least a nuisance, very probably cold calling sales or scam.

The caller said we had banned loft insulation. Even though they didn't ask if we had any or which kind. They said we had to let their surveyor come and inspect the loft. I asked several times who they were and she kept saying we work with lots of companies. I said I would get it looked at myself and hung up.

Overseas noisy background call centre female claiming to be from ‘the technical department’ not a specific company just technical department. Red flags were didn’t know my name or address. Automated call, has rung me 3 times (05/05). I rung back and it and nothing. Has now rung me twice this morning 09/05, I managed to pick up the phone, heard a very loud call centre in the background, and whoever called me hung up after a couple of seconds. Number is now blocked.
Claimed to be from Virgin Media about an internet connection. Worrying signs, firstly did not have my name as a contact or any reason to indicate I have an Virgin account. Also they are using a local number, for a very small area, which to my knowledge does not have a Virgin office.
There was nobody on he phone when I answered it.

Claiming to be from UK Tariff and that Sky customers have been overpaying their accounts and they want to check my payments are OK. They asked when I last made changes and as it is a new account I said I hadn't made changes. They asked how long I have had the account and I said I wasn't comfortable sharing that info. He asked why and I said he was calling from a random number and how do I know who he is. He said "Well I don't know. How DO you know who I am, I am calling from UK Tarrif." I hung up.
This number rang me, but did not know who it was, so I did not answer. No voicemail left, and gathering from what I have read here and from another site, this is likely to be a scam, so blocked it.
