lots of missed calls on my mobile from this number, if you try calling it back you get a message saying this number is not in service.

do not know who they are, it just rang and rang, but when i picked up no one was on the other end!

Aggressive Indian call centre. Have called every day for a week so far. I ve given up asking to be removed from their caller list. Now hang up as soon as they identify themselves. Hal s reply is spot on. If someone sends a text message to your landline and you don t pick up the phone it gets stored for you to retrieve later. This 0795 number is where you collect the message, plus the number of the mobile phone that sent the text. It s not dangerous. All depends on what the text message says, of course - that could be anything. In my case it was someone texting to say Sorry I Missed Your Call. See? Not dangerous.

DON’T ring these numbers back or you may get caught for a huge phone charge.
