Asked for a "Mr. Raymond"; when informed he had the wrong number, he requested my name to add to their caller registry. I declined, and he tried to tell me something about investing. I ended the call early by saying I had stuff to do. Overall the guy on the other end was very respectful and polite, and had a very mild Indian accent, so I think he might've been legit. Of note, however, is that my number is a Canadian number.
Unknown number from Manchester, possible scam as they did not leave a message on my answerphone so i will now block it as a scam

Scam call from SKY offering a £202 refund on my account!
This is an actual real firm's number. But the number has been taken over by some scammer who is contacting random people. I did not answer the phone in time, so rang back and the company said they had several people ringing back who had been approached by scammers. Awful for them to be used like this.

SCAM Said they have a refund from HMRC because I incorrectly paid tax on a PPI claim which I did not make. Scary that they have my mobile number, my name and my post code thought. Someone being selling my data.
Apparently I was due to compensation £££m having been conned by Mecedes about emissions. Told him I had seven Mercs, was a little busy and could he just put the money into a plain envelope and leave it underneath a bench at Fenchhurch Street station without passing GO, and I would have my butler pick it up later. He cut me off without confirming. The number is now blocked. Sense a potential scam.

SCAM. This number called at 13:00 hrs today and did not leave a message. I don't know anyone in the callers area and anyone who can't be bothered to leave a message having paid to make a call is probably up to no good. Therfore I believe this is a scam number??

SPAM this and 11 other land line numbers from this area have called my mobile over the last 2 months. Many have called multiple times, I've lost count. Fed up with them. Previous callers have been from so called Double glazing, green energy and investment companies. The last few were from FX MORGAN CAPITAL who also call from a plethora of mobile numbers- too many to list. The FCA and my bank, after an investigation with fraud squad, have said its a scam company. They didn’t even know my name and I’ve been with them for 20 years….jokes, but they did say they can confirm if I give them my email address….I don’t think so pal, they must of thought I was born yesterday, and I clearly stated to them I think your lying and prove yourself. Of course they couldn’t answer. Don’t trust ii, it’s a scam if I ever saw one.
