This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. I emailed them and told them I will charge them £150 per call and enforce it through the Courts using the address on their web site lets see them manage that debt
Scammer with Indian accent claiming to be from Opus Energy, our electricity provider, asking us to confirm our MPAN number because of technical problems in our area and becoming aggressive, threatening to cut us off because we wanted the request in writing. Opus confirmed no such request has been made.
Answered the first 2 calls from this number to hear an Asian sounding voice - in the first instance telling me I had a Windows problem and the second time telling me I had a BT line problem. As I was aware of this scam, in both instances I told them to "get lost" and hung up. Since then they have been ringing me several times a day but since I have caller identity I ignore it. This is plain harassment.
