Had a call claiming to be HMRC saying I've committed tax fraud and that action was being taken against me. I was told to press 1 to find out more so I hung up as I have read somewhere that as soon as you press a number, your phone can be hacked or something bad like that. I know for a fact that I haven't committed tax fraud and I don't think HMRC would phone. They usually send letters in the first instance. Therefore I'm flagging this up as dangerous.
Called at lest twice a day by this number. Do not answer as I do not recognise the number. They never leave a message so I guess it's a scam of some sort.

Same line every time saying I am calling from BT technical and I must switch on Computer and follow his instructions. I would suggest you will upload remote software for them to hack your passwords etc if you do. I just hang up now.
