When I answered the call the guy couldn't talk very good English, too myself, he then said that he's from citizens advice bureau and has found out information that I've got a lot of debt and they wish to help me dispose of the debt I then asked how does citizens advice know I have debt when I have not and then I said to them citizens advice do not cold call you you have to make appointments to go and see them so this is a scam.

John from UK driveway company, a real human being with a genuine English accent, calling my TPS registered landline, thus making this call illegal, and I shall be reporting it to TPS and the police for immediate action, given that he rang on 2 consecutive days, with me finally deciding to answer on the 3rd call so add harassment to the charge sheet! SCAM. The caller was a woman claiming to be based in Cape Town, South Africa. She further claimed to be from the energy company – E.ON – that supplies me with electricity. She knew or guessed my first name, and asked for confirmation of details of my name and mailing address. However, she did NOT ask for – nor did she receive – my e˗mail address, my account number, or any bank or credit card or debit card details. Furthermore, she did not ask for immediate payment. Have nothing to do with this number.

Called about 11am this morning. Well spoken female voice with English accent said she was an official energy agent in the area and asked if I still had fibreglass loft insulation. I immediately asked her the name of the energy company she worked for. She immediately ended the phone call. Obviously a scam.
