Full handset displayed number 000918045705737. Claimed my debit card had been hacked and debited £600. Provided options 1 or 2 to pursue further. I rang off and checked bank account. No sign of transaction. Scam till proved otherwise.
When they rang me I told them I HAD been in an accident, but it was my fault and I caused the death of 4 people. They stammered a bit then I asked them could they help me with this! They hung up.

DANGER ! Definitely Spam. Lady with Indian accent as O2 customer service telling me they had received multiple complaints about signal problem. I said I was satisfied with signal coverage. She then tried to give me a number to call back. I challenged her and told her I thought she not not legit. She started arguing. I said a real customer agent would not argue like that. I was called from this number this morning claiming to be from my bank. It was a recorded message and not a ‘live’ caller. I was informed there were two suspect transactions from my account and, if they weren’t from me, I should press 1 on my keypad. I hung up immediately, checked my bank account and saw that the transactions didn’t exist so I assume that this was an attempted scam.
