SCAM . . . . . starts with a text "Where are you? I'm waiting for you". If you reply you will be marked down as a 'responder' and active with replying to texts (or even worse, possibly phone calls). Simply ignore it and block the number.
Annoying. Have been phoning me for well over a year asking for Mrs Harvey. Have blocked number multiple times but obv have several different ones with corresponding numbers. Usually ask for number to be removed which usually follows being hung up on, today I was very verbal, surprisingly man stayed on line and apologised and said number would be removed. We will see! I received call from this number claiming to be reporting that my desktop computer had been hacked. Suspicious. Caller broke off when I expressed doubts about veracity of his claims.
Caller said they were from "Microsoft Corporation". They asked for information about my computer, telling me that they knew there was a problem. I kept them talking by asking questions. The caller got angrier and told me that they would be "seeing me tomorrow" before ringing off.
