Answered the phone, none there. said hello, then I heard laughing and joking. They realised I had answered and just hung up. I have no idea how they have got my number. This company should be banned

These people have been ringing me twice daily for about two weeks. They rang me four times today and I finally picked up - total nonsense, a man on the end of the line explained that he was calling about a bank loan I took out in 2006 . I was fourteen in 2006. What a bunch of morons.

Left an answerphone message as I didn t answer, just hung up on it Came up as USA listened to answerphone just blank now blocked

It s too many digits to be a valid UK number.

The following steps are suggested:

pain in the ass,2 or 3 calls a week and they just hang up when you answer.this number needs to be terminated.been going on for 2 months.

This is the number behind the international number used for the scam where the caller purports to be from BT Openreach to help with a problem in our router.

Just received a call from this number which said I had a text message but the message was garbled. Phoned our friend who was in a London hospital thinking it was him and he had sent by accident a text message to our landline which resulted in this call. It must be the message service operated by BT but doesn t appear to work very well.
