Fraud: This was a text received stating someone was trying to change recipient details on an HSBC account and they wanted me to confirm details and authenticity. However, I have not had an HSBC account for more than 4 years. Please report the number to your phone carrier and apply the normal block and spam filter to the number. SCAM - apparently michael from carphone warehouse. Known scam currently being reported in the news.
Missed Call - Called Back - And the same PPI S**t. The lady started off asking personal details, which I didn t reveal and asked what it is about. She doesnt want to listen when I said I am not interested and she can take off my name from her database. Am now receiving atleast 1-2 calls a day and 3-4 sms messages from various people/companies and I think it has crossed the limits to be tagged as harassment. Am not sure what OFCOM is doing about it.

As we have registered our business line with Corporate TPS months ago, this is one of multiple illegal calls we receive promising to get us PPI refunds within 12 weeks. This call, like all the others which also offer Private Pensions 3K windfalls, is an automated message and cuts off within 10 seconds, telling you to press 5 to start your claim or 9 to unsubscribe. Can someone tell me what happens when you press 9?

Asked me for my address, which they said was wrong, and kept asking for my previous addresses, saying it will be a previous address and can I confirm my previous addresses. I have had this number call me about once a day for the last couple of weeks. Each time I answer the line goes dead. I m assuming its an auto dialer and there s no agent available to take my call when the line connects. I have now barred them on my phone. Time wasters.
