These are scam calls, I used to get up to 8 a day, I got myself the bt 8500 home phone, it blocks all nuisance calls. Check it out on Google.

this company has started to telephone everyday glad I put the do not disturb option on the landline now.
Have decided never to pick the phone up if I do not know the number. There have been 4 today. Which is low. Total harassment.
Kept calling me 'sweetheart' while trying to sell me a business plan for my phone. Told me he'd come back to me in an hour. Good luck with that- number blocked!!
