Despite being registered with TPS I continue to get calls but this one was so duller than average. "Martin" called from an "events company" about an event in my area blah blah offering a meeting with a money grabbing financial consultant. He talked for so long without pausing to let me answer that I thought it must be a recording. Then he got to the question - do I want to have a meeting - and when I said no he asked why. I began to answer him but he hung up. Cut me off in mid-sentence.
Scam number being used by "VISA Security with activity on card connected to Western Union account". When choosing to talk to an "Advisor", got to talk to a female with Indian/Pakistani accent who said they were in Milton St, East London. This number is located near Manchester. Fraud attempt.

Glen Dimplex Cookers etc Customer Care Help Centre Its expensive so I wrote a letter to the Chief Operating Officer, Michael Maher, at the Glen Dimplex Head office in Dublin, complaining about the cost. Waiting for a response ! I may be barking at the wrong tree though as its my mobile phone company, Vodaphone, that is charging 45p/minute as an access charge, whilst Glen Dimplex is charging max 10p per minute. So it appears that Vodaphone is the greedy party.
