SCAM Wanted my mobile details for a virus on my router

Fraud SCAM SPAM Nasty person, rude, arrogant.

SCAM This number called on my land line with a recoded message stating that my internet was to be cut off within the next 24 to 48 hours because of illegal activity. If I needed to speak to an executive manager I instructed to press 1 on my handset. The internet was not cut off nor has been interrupted. This is a scam.

Call was a recorded message saying that I had 2 transactions off £750 off my Credit card this morning if this was not you press 1. I didn't do it but I did check with my accounts and it appears to be a scam. As they didnt say which Credit company either. Plus surely they wouldn't use a mobile phone either. They would use land line to ring from. Plus an email or text.

I was called at about 11.35 am today with a recorded message saying that my card had been used to pay £700+ on Amazon and £2000 international money transfer, asking me to press 1 to speak to someone, which I did not do. I strongly suspect that this is a scam.

Ozval se mně ženský hlas s otázkou, zda jsem jim volal. Odpověděl jsem, že nikoliv a demokraticky jsem se zeptal , kdo že mě tedy od nich volá! Druhá strana hovor demokraticky ihned ukončila... :-O Tedy je demokraticky zřejmá demokratická nevychovanost nebo demokratická intelektuální zaostalost telefonní operátorky. SCAM - Man with an a strong Indian accent asking if I had had an accident, his name apparently was Sam Mohammed (clearly made up). I said I don't drive (although I do), to which he said one of your family members must have had an accident. He said he got my number from the travel accident bureau, but he couldn't tell me what my name is! I asked what he would do if I did have an accident, and he said he would put me through to his supervisor, and I said, 'right and your supervisor will take my card details

Automated message claiming to be from Amazon. Claiming that order had been placed on hold due to suspicious activity on card and to press 1 to talk to advisor. Phishing scam.

Cold call claiming to be from British Gas saying they are installing meters in my area when I asked what area that is the guy disconnected the call

Scam recording from my visa card Co advising 2 fraud transactions for big amts, called my card Co from no on bk of my card and no transactions have taken place, be careful all especially the elderly, try use a credit card at all times then transfer from Yr debit card to pay it, never take out he house Yr debit card, as bank don't always reimburse u for fraud, the credit card Co will if you have shown you took care reporting any suspicious activity and were careful with Yr details online. Then the usual press 1 to speak to the next available Scammer. Needless to say, there was NO money taken. They did not ask for anyone in particular and never mentioned any Bank

Fraud A friend of mine had money disappearing from her bank account, she's Burmese and her English isn't so good so I looked into it for her. Turns out it's a company called Florist-world.com that took 2 euro from her account then took 24 euro every 2 weeks. I finally found emails from them in her spam folder, they'd somehow managed to get hold of her debit card number and were taking 24 Euro every 2 weeks, the last email said that amount was increasing to 44 Euro. I believe this to be a banking scam as the automated called said they were from Bank Security - but no bank name given. They told me that a charge for £700 had been made by Amazon (I no longer have an account there) and an international charge of £2,000. I was asked to press a number to speak to security!!!

This number had a female who knew our name but claimed to be from Cristian Aid. Unfortunately two weeks ago had a very similar number phone pretending to be from Cerebra, when quizzed that person they became very nasty then hung up.

Received a call stating from British Gas with regards to my boiler cover. Advised that I will be covered for £22 a month and asked for my sortcode and account number. They also advised that if I had any issues with my boiler I should call the freephone number which was 01202 138 752. When I advised them that I work for British Gas Services which I do they hung up. I tried the "freephone" number but this related to another company which has nothing to do with boilers or anything to do with British
