However the van he had me as owning was from over 5 years ago, so I guess this is some old hacked database and then a scam to get your money. SCAM - some paki pretending to be from your internet company saying error messages. I always say I've a fault that means my router gets disconnected when someone's calling but string the scumbags along as long as I can.
Charges of 64p are made to your mobile number for messages you receive and are listed on my 3 network bill as “Message Event”. I was charged for 3 messages at a cost of £1.94 which is a scam that lots of others will be suffering and accumulating hundreds if not thousands of £ for the scammers. B@^*@RDS

It went to voicemail and an automated voice left a message saying that there had been some suspicious activity on my Amazon account to the amount of £1,400+ and that my account would be locked and I should press 1 or 2 to sort this out. Obviously I didn't. I've checked my account due to receiving the same message from a mobile number a couple of days before and it's fine.

Question of whether there has been fraud on my account remains unsolved - l was unable to give the exact year that l opened my account - approx 40 years ago - and so failed my telephone security check . May be genuine, but they asked me to repeat the same information re my account so many times that l was suspicious, and would urge caution
