ppi phone call

My phone was switched off & when I turned it on, saw there was a text msg saying I had a missed call.

no answer.......

Told me about a delayed flight I'd been part of and that they were pursuing vouchers from the airline. Never even been to the claimed destination.

SCAM - very strong accent, calling about accident that wasn't my fault. I put the phone down and blocked them, they called straight back from another 020 number and then again.

Fraud says they were from BT and i had issues with my internet where someone had gained access and the IP address was being used in different place.

Introduced himself as Peter from Telephone Preference Service. Asked if I was getting nuisance calls? So I told him he was one. But Peter continued unabashed and asked again and said I needed to register to stop these calls. So this time I said I did not want to stop them as I enjoyed the conversation. He asked if I didn't want to have them stop. But I again repeated that I liked them. This succeeded in confusing him immensely and he could not think what to say - haha Basically a complete scam - beware.
