I've just kept one of their team talking for 12 minutes, saving others from being called by this scam! They claim to be "Road Traffic Management" and that they can get you additional compensation for a RTA you've had. They also claim to have got your details from the MIB (Motor Insurance Database), but when pushed they claim that all they were given was your phone number and the fact that your vehicle had been in an accident in the last five years that wasn't your fault. How did they get my details when this is not my phone it's paid for by somebody else 250 miles away. The mind boggles at how much scammery people think they can get away with. This number is being used for a scam. This number called claiming to be the bank & said two large payments had been drawn from my account- one for Amazon & one international payment . I ended the call without pressing any phone keys, then phoned my bank on a trusted number: they said my account was fine & the call had been a scam.
Caller said he was Virgin Media Technical Department and believed I was having trouble with my internet speed. He wanted me to do a speed test but when I said that I couldn't do that he disconnected. I've been with Virgin for many years and they've never phoned me in the past. As far as I'm aware, Virgin never phone customers when there's any problem so I'm rating this call as dangerous.

Called claiming to be from PDM in relation to easyspace. about a domain that is up for sale and as a loyal customer of theirs we are given first refusal. used company directors as names which are easily accessible. I said i would pass on to manager and call back. as a small company, I know who our domain providers are. when looked up the domain they mentioned, it is registered until 2023. believe this could be a scam looking to register fake domains.
