Was called by this number which was automated. Informing me that my Amazon Prime was being renewed and that money would be taken from my bank account and to press 1 to speak to the Service Manger. Assess this as a Scam as I do not have Amazon prime.

Number came up on my phone as "Jack the box" (not promising, but also means they've listed themselves as a company I believe). Offering a competitive rate on my bushes electricity. Safe number I received a missed call from this number but none of the 'who called me' websites had any comments and I wanted to know who had called. As the number is local to me, I took a chance and called them back, It's the Boots Opticians Appointment Booking Centre so it's quite safe. They have written to me several times as I'm due for my eye test but I just hadn't got around to making an appointment. I'm leaving this comment just to let other searchers know who called.

I have received 3 text messages from a number claiming to be BTBusiness asking me to call them back at this number or text STOP to 60251. As I don't have an account with BT at all, I've ignored them but 3 messages in 3 days is a bit annoying.

How did they get my details when this is not my phone it's paid for by somebody else 250 miles away. The mind boggles at how much scammery people think they can get away with.
