Not in the habit of giving out my personal mobile number to just anyone or any businesses. Although I ve had 6 calls from this number in the past few days, no idea who it is, as I have absolutely no intention whatsoever of answering calls from numbers I do not recognise, especially if they begin 0845. Just blocked the number from my list of recent calls on my iPhone, which sends them directly to voicemail as opposed to bothering me with something I am unconcerned about. I too am registered with TPS,

Do not trust, definately sounded dodgy. Got details of me buyin a phone from EE from somewhere, and was trying to use it to target me don t fall for this, anyone who calls you and asks you to confirm details is dodgy

A recorded mail voice claiming to be from HMRC saying that they have a case against me and to press 1 to speak to my case officer. A definite dangerous scam. I am registered with TPS - they are definitely breaking the law.

A girl called me 2 hours ago. She wanted to ask some questions and when i said that i dont want to answer she hung up. Such phone scam is really annoying!

Another company ignores TPS system, what a suprise. Guy was rude, pressing buttons while speaking, not impressed.

I received a call from this number this afternoon but no voicemail was left so I didn t know who called. I later received a call from 01702454081, which seemed a coincidence. This was from Insure and Go. They were following up an online quote for travel insurance so it was really not entirely a cold call .

They called a few times and hung up when I answered. Then they called again saying that they needed my expiry date on my credit card. I wasted their time until they hung up.

I suspect they are trawling for occupied lines to sell on to call centres
