This is a scam number. Claimed to be from BT Internet, ringing about other devices being connected to my BT Hub. (Rang off when asked why they thought other devices were being used without permission.)
Very fishy, foreign voice, too chatty. Said I had signed up for something that I had not.
Call center - asked a variety of questions including the brand of my washing machine and my contents insurance provider, but did not request any personal information.

Just been called from this number claiming to be from BT Openreach wanting my Internet details as my security had been compromised. When challenged the caller was rude and hung up on me.This website suggests the phone is based near Greater Manchester but a phone locator website suggests it is based in London. Calling the number back yielded no response.
Cold call. Chris. Friendly but persistent for a free survey for loft insulation saying the insulation we have could cause condensation and damp. Declined their invitation, looked online to find the number was from Reading, then at "Wokingham Borough Council News." to find "WARNINGS OF LOFT INSULATION SCAMMERS".

Someone "from Microsoft". When challenged about their life choices on attempting to scam people they first denied it and then hung up. If it's important I'm sure they have my email address. ????

Trying to sell gas and electricity contracts, very pushy, use phrases such as I need you to tell me know if you will sign contrcats today or we wont price you.....told them attempting to force me or anyone in to a contrcat is not how you win work. Number now blocked.
Automated voice claiming to be from HMRC, and requiring urgent action. In my opinion, if it was genuine they'd write to you, or email, not vague automated phone messages. I think this is a phishing spam call.

Fraud Called pretending to be instructed by an United Kingdom Insurance Limited. He spoke very convincingly and was stubborn that the call was "not out of the blue" that he was instructed to call me because they had to transfer funds to me in relation to driving accident that was not my fault. No longer do I speak when I answer a number not familiar. If it's a cold call, they will speak first. If it's someone who knows me, they will speak if I don't. This one just hung up, so I can deduce it was an unsolicited and unwanted call and blocked them.

This is a genuine number from santander fraud team. I was suspicious of the number so I rang it and explained I felt it was a scam and the advisor told me to ring the number on the back of my card which I did. And the fraud team confirmed that the text message was genuine and was from santander.
