Insurance SPAM This number and very similar numbers have been calling me daily for a couple of weeks. I have missed the previous calls but answered today. A very well spoken man said he was calling from some company (I didn't catch the name) to do with my Scottish Widows life insurance. When I told him I don't have a policy he asked if I'd cancelled it and I told him I had and that I don't need life insurance. He immediately told me to have a good day and hung up. This call is from the Visa Debit Fraud pretending there is a pending transaction of £900 and to press one if this is not a transaction you recognise. I never pressed one, but I suspect if they did my bank details would have been requested. I checked with my bank there are no pending transactions

Says if you didn't order stay on the line no doubt you get though to someone asking for account/bank details. I just ended call and blocked. My Amazon account does not have this order on it so all okay.

Had three calls from this number. Supposedly Amazon saying I owe £96 for an expired Prime membership. Never used Prime. Checked with Amazon who have never requested this fee.
This number has called me several times in the past few days & 3 times today alone. I do not answer unsolicited calls & NEVER give ANY personal information over the phone, not to even confirm my name. I suspect this is an automated dialer & more than likely a scam. Wanted to talk about my life insurance policy but said it was an "AIG policy" which it isn't. When questioned on this he repeated the same thing once and then stealthily changed it to say he was working with my provider and AIG. Double checked and the two companies don't appear related. He then started on the spiel where he called it a personal policy which it isn't. Let him continue to waste his time and then told him the truth when he asked at which point he hung up on me. Total scam BS.
