Full handset displayed number 000918045705737. Claimed my debit card had been hacked and debited £600. Provided options 1 or 2 to pursue further. I rang off and checked bank account. No sign of transaction. Scam till proved otherwise.

I double checked the numbers with the REAL recruitment company and those numbers don't belong to Huntress Recruitment, same for this number 01315329304! Danger - this number is from a scam Norton 360 protection email. It asks you to call number if you want to cancel the new subscription you have supposedly auto renewed. Would not have worked on me as I have taken Norton 360 as it’s crap as a protection software tool. If I had I would have gone direct to the Norton rather than respond to a high lighted number in an email.

I don't know who called as I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message on my answerphone. I never answer calls from unknown numbers as they're usually either a scam or trying to sell me something I don't want. If it's an important call and they really need to speak to me then they would probably leave a message. I live Manchester area and there's no reason for anyone from London area to contact me.

SCAM! Claiming to be calling from Microsoft in relation to a device that is compromised. Caller kept changing tact from it being a product in my name to one in my husbands name, and from a device to a license then refused to give details of what was alleged to be compromised.

I had a call to say my gas meter engineer was in an accident and had to rearrange for next week. Strangely I had a call from the engineer 15 minutes later to say he was on his way and knew nothing of an accident. I can't help but feel suspicious .
