This number is used by Boku, a phone collection service (based in San Fransico, USA - with supposedly Europe wide offices) that collects "subscriptions" from, normally inadvertantly, "subscribing" to on-line adverts, messages and web sites. Caller said she was calling from Amazon and someone had bought a phone on my account and they had been sending me emails yesterday. Checked Amazon account and all email folder...

Three times they called in one day. something about solar panels. Three times I asked the company name. Three times she gave an unintelligible answer. Hung up and blocked them.

Just received a call from this number, a female with an American accent, who wanted to ask a few questions (a survey, not selling anything). Asked where she got my number (we are with TPS) and she said BT. I explained there s no way BT would give out (or sell) a number registered with TPS. I explained it s illegal to coldcall TPS-registered numbers. I asked if she was calling from the US, she said no, it s a UK company but the call is being made from an offshore address. I said goodbye.

Keep getting calls and spoof texts, they claim to be Scottish Power but they are not. They tell me my number is linked o a SP account but I rang SP from their website number and they have advised me there is no account with my number. I cannot make them stop so having to change my number. It been happening for months but I ignored them until it ramped up to daily.
