This number has been calling me lots of times over the past weeks. Finally got a 'live person' to speak. He sounded like he was from the Indian sub-continent, asked me if my postcode was correct and my phone number (which he had just rung) was correct, and whether I was between 18 and 75 yrs old. Called from "Aviva" about my car accident that I am remembering sincely. As usual I love wasting their time and did the needful, they even keep ringing me back and have passed me on to the "clever one". Good sport so far, I love it when they cry when I reveal that I've been stringing them along.

Two strange calls today. One from number 0001647057597 One from number 05845 897724 Both calls claimed that my internet / broadband provider had been trying to contact me: Press 1…..etc I live in a rural location, with a local provider. Numbers now on block list.

This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. Just got called by this number for the first time, it was an Asian woman wanting to discuss a matter regarding my account with lloyds. She wouldn't tell me any more, unless I "confirm" my d.o.b. and post code; I declined and asked them to mail me instead. Rang Lloyds afterwards and they told me that no Lloyds number starts with 0808 and that there was no issue to discuss. My advice is to block this number.
