SCAM / SPAM Had a call from 01216487023 on May 18th 2020 Caller claimed to be from a visa company saying there had been 2 suspicious purchases totalling £1800. They didn't know my name , address or postcode. I told them i'd check my banking app as it shows transactions immediately. The caller said they won't show up , which is why they were calling. I said i'd check anyway. They hung up. Always check first
Company must be using virtual numbers. They will continue to be blocked.

I didn't know anyone on Manchester so I just let the phone ring without answering. No message was left so I'm guessing it was a spam caller. Have since blocked it.
I blocked this number a few months ago but they still keep calling.
This number was given to me this morning by a scammer pretenting to be from TalkTalk saying I'd be without internet service for up to 18 days due to my computer causing problems with their server. Guess what . It could be fixed remotely by the caller........no doubt introducing a virus or some such to my computer and then charging me to get rid of the problem. TalkTalk have confirmed the number is not theirs and that they did not call me this morning
