Just had a text from the number 012685-578577 asking me to contact Claire regarding my account with T-Mobile.I thought it strange as why would they not email or ring me so it is interesting to see it is not directly from T-Mobile. I recently got a brill deal with T-Mobile for Broadband and a brill deal for my mobile with another company.Other than actually pay me to take their products I couldnt do any better than I have. Called saying he is from a medical centre and needed me to confirm certain things. Just told him I dont answer anything over the phone at all because of the amount of scams going round.

Call center -operative claimed to be from Virgin Media Technical Services; said he needed me o take my (landline phone) into the room with the computer, then turn it on, so he could do something to my router, to "give me the speed [I] was paying for". I've had at least four calls from these guys (with heavy Asian accents, to the point of not being able to be understood); it is the same script, but the calls have come from a number of different phone numbers in the West Midlands. I usually don t answer numbers I don t know (as I get a lot), but I felt like answering this time. A bloke with a northern accent asked for Mr Chin . I told him I don t know that name (as it s not my name and I know no one of that name.) The man on the phone then asked: "Are you hiding him?"
