I had another silent call a week ago from a Greater Manchester number, also Crown Double Glazing. I don’t need double glazing, have full double glazing fitted, and have not looked for double glazing for 20 years. My windows were fitted a few years ago from someone by verbal recommendation. So don’t know how they have obtained my home ex directory home number.

Been called four times a day for the past three days from yhis number. Every time is a different scam. First they said they were my bank. Second time they were M&S, third they were trying to "make my computer secure" because they could see it had been accessed from Africa. The scams never end. Finally I said "you do know you re ringing a neighbourhood police station don t you?" And the caller hung up and so far hasn t rung back!
