Looks like some miscreants are using this number from India and informing the people that they are calling for TataAIA Life Insurance. I got many calls from this number and I can sense that they are fraud. Be careful when you get calls from this number.

Possible scam. Women said she was from Amazon and they'd noticed unusual activity on my Mum's account. Told her to press 1 if she hadn't bought something for £700. Mum was suspicious, rang off, got the number by dialing 1471 then rang it back. Women who answered refused to give her name and said she hadn't called Mum and didn't work for a company.

After reading other people's comments below I have blocked the number - if it is green peace as some suggest then I have no idea how they have got my number. Fraud - Fake "debt collecter" type call. Asking to speak to financial department about an overdue debt that is owed (completely false allegation) but had no names or contact details. When asked if anything had been sent in writing the chap with a "Georide" accent said it could only be dealt with by phone so number blocked and reported.
