I have had over 40 calls from these people on their new number 0161 939 7225. These scammers are trying to get you to claim PPI and will not take no for an answer. They called my mobile a month ago and I strung this chap along for over 8 minutes since it was a landline to mobile call, thinking that they would pay a lot for the this scam call. Keep getting calls and spoof texts, they claim to be Scottish Power but they are not. They tell me my number is linked o a SP account but I rang SP from their website number and they have advised me there is no account with my number. I cannot make them stop so having to change my number. It been happening for months but I ignored them until it ramped up to daily.

Then I Mistakenly used the no. for texts to my singing tutor (who had also first rung at same sort of time). I have had NO PROBLEMS with the caller on 02036973209. Did not text back and have not been ringing again.
