Since discovered they are called Trust money so decided to give them a taste of their own medicine and I call 0141 305 3045 and press one and then go silent when they take my call, Churlish I know but I get about 5 of these type calls a day !!!! Received a call offering a free tablet, declined as I did not believe they were calling from Vodafone themselves, and hung up. Then received a seemingly automated text message from Vodafone advising the call was genuine, but the grammar in the text was poor - "infact", "you wasn t sure", "removed you from our list of customer" - so I can t be sure if it is genuine. Surely a big company like that would check something so simple?

Appears to be operating in the UK, English accent. Claims to be from an energy supplier from 'your area' however they are cold calling and know nothing about you. They will hang up quickly as soon as you query further, they will ask for personal details. Believe they are trying to sell loft insulation / boilers unsolicited however be careful they are also likely putting you out of pocket and potentially a SCAM.
