Guy purporting to be from’ car phone warehouse company’. Could hardly understand what he was saying - when I queried what he wanted, he hung up.

He said he was calling from the Tenancy Deposit Helpline. I told him I'd Googled it and there was no such company - he said that it was a problem with my internet connection!!!

Said something about an web site that I had an account opened on that was in Bitcoin... Said balance was 4 something so I asked what was that in Canadian then line was silent like I was put on hold or mute for about 45sexonds then I heard a noise and hung up on me.... That seems awfully suspicious seeing I don't recall opening any accounts to buy trade or exchange funds for bitcon!?!?! Also when I looked up 4 in Bitcoin I Canadian is 27000???????? so that sealed the deal that this number is a SCAM/FRAUDU
recorded message claiming to be from HMRC and threatening legal proceedings if I didn't get back to them and told to press "1". Highly suspect a scam so hung up

SCAM - fake HMRC call saying they’re taking legal action and tries to connect you to an operator
SPAM - called me from a broadband company in connection with Currys. I have not brought anything from Currys. Trying to get me to change broadband providers. I think he said it was Genius Broadband.
