SCAM. Claims to be BT trying to improve my security and wanting access to my broadband. I m not even with BT.

Parasites hoping that you will give them some of your hard earned money.

The chap called me and said he had a missed call from me to his mobile number. I have not called anyone today. So no clue who he was or what company he was from.

Missed call to my mobile, presumably asking for Stephen Griffiths (again) but from a different number. A well spoken English accent for a change from the usual child caller. They at least had the business owners name for a change but the usual failure to state their name or purpose was present, my suggestion that the owner had gone to Tunisia for the summer will, no doubt, fail to put them off their mission of calling every day for the foreseeable future.

Mobile number saying they are from Hermes claiming to have a parcel for us, we have not ordered anything and are not waiting for anything to be delivered, this definitely a scam.

Asking to complete a "lifestyle survey", pressed the issue when I said I did not have time. Further pressed the issue when I said I was at work, nuisance call.

We just had a call from these people. It was 10.05 am on Monday 22nd Sept. Cold call on our land line and we are registered with the TPS.

This number is ao.com. They ring it when you ve placed an order in the pretence of confirming delivery details etc. In fact, their sole purpose is to sell you their costly insurance cover for the items you ve bought. No new information re delivery details is provided, they just repeat your order details. These are unsolicited scripted insurance sales calls and as such a form of harassment. They don t leave a message when they ring so that you ring back and incur the cost of the call. Very shoddy behaviour.

had exactly the same call threatening legal action... when i called back I was asked for my name and national insurance number....just hung up!

Told me she was calling about my car accident. Replied that I wasnt involved in one but she persisted in asking me when my accident took place. Time wasters.
