The caller hung up after a few rings, I didn t have time to get to the phone, so rang the number which 1471 gave me. Result - "Sorry, this number has not been recognised"

Got a call from this number claiming to be sponsored by the FSA to investigate premium bank accounts. Told me my premium account may be a scam. Didn t know the name of my bank and when told my number was registered with the TPS claimed the TPS had no authority as they were based on the Philippines. When asked for her name and the name of the company she said she was not prepared to reveal that info. Apart from content, the little signals were pause between me answering and them speaking even though the num

Said they were calling from Expedite Crash Claims and that they had heard I was in an car accident. I said I have NEVER been involved in a car accident before. They then asked me When did the car accident take place? I told them to f*** off and they hung up. l suspect this was an interactive robot speaking, very believable and spoke good english but didn t recognise my long winded response for not been involved in any car accident .

Text came from outside UK saying RING ME ASAP X I m guessing if I did there would be a big cost to the call and my number would end up on a data base it should not be on
Called me just now and claimed to be 'Jane from the NHS', in relation to the covid-19 pandemic and the need to update emergency medical records. I replied that the NHS would not do such a thing, and they immediately hung up.
Fraud. Claimed internet would be cut off within 24 hours. Automated voice.
BT Internet apparently, call centre. Wanted to know what devices were coneected.Put the phone down when I told him this was a business.
