The text message related to card transactions that were made including a cash point withdrawl from within the branch on the day before. On the basis that I have no on-line or telephone banking, the knowledge of the transactions made , could only have come from within the Bank it's self via a genuine source or if RBS had a systems security breach(unlikely). Replying Y put me at little risk except confirming the mobile telephone number was linked to my identity via the transactions - which was already known b

Man saying his name was Mike Williams alleged he was calling from BT about a problem with our computer. When told not to phone again, he replied he would call ‘again and again’. Scammers are getting cheekier.
